A Visitor At The Field

On a nice Sunday in October we had quite the unusual visitor. We were visited by a home-built single passenger helicopter. It was powered by a small turbine engine. More details and photos will be posted soon.

Fall Highway Cleanup

Our Fall Adopt-A-Highway cleanup was on Saturday, October 22. We completed our entire segment of 611 in about 3 hours. Our most interesting find along the side of the highway was an empty cash register drawer.

Next Meeting WEDNESAY May 4 at the FIELD!

Good times are here! Starting with the May meeting we are back to our summer meeting schedule. Our monthly meetings will be held on the first WEDNESDAY of the month at our FLYING FIELD at sunset, when it becomes too dark to fly. Should the weather be bad, the meeting will default to the following Wednesday. Call one of your club officers if you are unsure of the weather. Typically, we will cancel a meeting only when it is actively raining at the time of the meeting.

The summer schedule will continue through the September meeting.
